A Salute is an Italian restaurant & full service cocktail bar located in an 1850 Church on Main Street in Matawan, NJ. The 170 year old building has kept its character and warmth to provide a comfortable setting for families and friends to enjoy a great lunch or dinner.   Seasonal outdoor dining with a full service bar will be a great way to start your spring in 2021 on our 180 seat patio with live entertainment and daily Happy Hour.

Over the last 45 years, as a restaurant our location has given families in the Monmouth County area many memories by hosting family parties for baptisms, christenings, communions, confirmations, engagements, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, first dates and celebrations of life. A Salute looks forward to rekindling those fond memories and starting new ones with all of you.
